The Creation of 38th Parallel
The 38th parallel was created in 1945, when Korea found independence from Japan.
After Koreans found independence from Japan, North Korean and South Korean got into a fight
deciding whether to rule the Korea as Republic or Democratic.
Then Russians and U.S. wanted to end the fight between the two Korea.
Russians were in charge of making North Koreans give up on them
and
U.S. was in charge of making South Koreans give up on them.
Then they made an imaginary line, 38th parallel, which was placed on where they wanted it to be,
which was right in the middle of North and South Korea.
